The Bends new custom racing league
The Bend (Shell V-Power Motorsport Park) has created its own racing league designed to get more racers on their track with reduced costs and a new racing league dedicated to “GT3, GT4 and single-make series vehicles from several manufacturers and generations”.
Apex League is run on weekdays to “allow family time on the weekends” and is run on a single day. Each event features a 90 minute track session, 25 minute qualifying and two 25 minute races. The league is focused on being a stress-free environment for relaxing and networking between track sessions.
Sounds like it might be focused on the top end of town but claims to be assisting with lower cost access to The Bend and its facilities.
3 trophies are up for grabs across the day split into 3 catagories, Apex Trophy, Apex Cup & Apex Challenge.
Apex Trophy – GT2, GT3 and MARC II cars
Apex Cup – Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari and MARC I cars
Apex Challenge – GT 4 cars
Entry is $2295 or $1995 for Bend members.
The Very First Apex League kicks off on November 28 (thursday) as a teaser. The main league will start and continue in 2025, as yet on undisclosed dates.
